Sometimes, private problems or issues from our past might subconsciously hinder our personal growth or could have a negative impact on our relationships with others.
In such situations, the support of a trained counsellor, like myself, might enable us to gain a better understanding of ourselves, to react differently to certain circumstances or to unburden ourselves from emotional baggage.

The initial session is for you to get to know me and to decide whether you want me as your counsellor. We will discuss what brought you to counselling and what you would like to change. We will also discuss what is your goal for counselling and how we might work together.
During further sessions, we will develop options for alternative solutions and I will support you to establish the changes you seek, ensuring we keep focused on your goal. This can be achieved for example by strengthening your existing resources, helping you to consider issues from different perspectives or alternative ways of thinking or acting.
